i-Sense Proposal Call for Funded Fellowships
The EPSRC IRC in Early Warning Sensing Systems for Infectious Diseases (i-Sense) is currently inviting proposals for one to six month fellowships.
Fellowship Proposals from academia and industry will be accepted in the following areas:
- Mobile phone-connected point of care tests
- Optics and microfluidics
- Machine learning, statistics
- Data security
- App development
All incoming fellows must be hosted in an i-sense group.
Fellowships should be between 1 week and 6 months and a maximum allowance of £10,000 per Fellowship is available (80% of directly incurred costs). This funding is available to cover travel and subsistence costs only.
Application Deadline: 31st October 2016.
This funding is supported by the i-sense Partnership Resource Fund (PRF), led by Professor Vince Emery. The PRF aims to grow i-sense into a self-sustained hub of innovation, by building networks of excellence including external academic, clinical and industry partners.
